Christine (Hunt) Hjorth is a First Grade teacher, advocate, parent, private tutor, researcher and writer with an absolute passion for education and the ability it has to change a child’s life! Using her years as a First Grade teacher in the public school system, and well as her time as a stay-at-home mom to two children, she took her experience of being around new, young readers to write books that are silly and engaging!
She is certified in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Gifted Education, and has been published with a chapter about Early Childhood Giftedness in the book Gifted Underachiever (Nova Science Publishing, 2017) and a First Grade ELA Curriculum (Aligned Educational Resources, 2021). When not writing, she enjoys spending time with her husband of over twenty years, Erik, two children, Connor and Gavin, and dog, Piper, in New Jersey.
